Some of the things I will be doing in my van.
1. I am going to put some extra slats in the rear bed to add strength, this is the slats that pull out.
2. Fix a two way level by the front window to help get the van level.
3. Well three is more a reminder, take the TV off the wall bracket when towing, it took a month to get it back from repair.
4. Stop getting worried that I can't light the gas fire, as I always use electric.
5. Put up a second shelf, my side of the bed for bedtime drink (orange squash).
6. Get a long pole and put a TV Ariel on.
7. Get one more water barrel and some jackets for barrels.
8. Check the spare wheel, (first find it).
9. Get refill of gas bottle, must be getting low by now.
10. One more wash of van before winter.
11. Try to fit in one more break away before Christmas.

Exhausted me reading all this work! I can see the point of the tasks but suggest you master the gas fire. WE're out all year and occasionally have to boost the electric with the gas- usually just a few minutes. It should light easily. Turn the knob to 4, press down and hold, press sparker two or three times. After about 10 secs let knob go and it should fire up. If you have an auto ignite just hold it down. You should be able to see a pilot light through the little window.half the price of any where else.
On CO detectors I see Aldi has them on offer. My last one one was from there and lasted 5 years at about

save on work !!!!!!
Try a good diet and more exercise and forget the extra slats

Drink a stronger bed time drink and you'll not be bothered about the shelf
smiley-undecided.gif

Drink something stronger all day long and you'll not need the extra water barrel

Buy Georgina a Kindle from Amazon and she can take loads of books and save weight

Always double wax a new van with a wax loaded with silicon, not so much shhhhhh sticks to it and it cuts down on work later

Get the gas fire sorted before the power trips and you freeze.

I have my Pat to keep me worm.
The gas fire is auto light, I phoned the place I got the van and he told me that you press down the control nob turn it to ignite then it should drop down about 1/8 of a inch if not wiggle it to it dose.
I have been wiggling it for about half an hour and it just dose not won't to drop down.
It go's in for a service in April so I will get them to look at it.
I must admit the electric side of the fire is nice and worm and we do have a small fan heater.
So will just hope for better weather but thanks for your concern.
