New member, from Scotland, been caravaning 3 years with hubbie and 2 children. Love it. Had Coachman Mirage. Excitedly awaiting delivery of Adria 6 berth as, at the moment space is a priority for us. We enjoy Northumberland for weekends and are heading further North in Scotland for our main 2 weeks holidays this year. It`s nice to hear about you all

Cara

Hi Caroline, I live just outside of Edinburgh near the Scottish Borders and I am new to caravanning. This is a great site. I have learned a lot from it. Welcome. Niki

Thanks for your posting, Colin. Your caravan sounds great. That would have been another option for us but we went for fixed bunks as John would make up our bed and I would wrestle with the kids beds making them up and nearly dropping the top one through my feet or the floor.(Nothing to do with wine!)It will make a huge difference when the kids can just crash out after running round the park or whatever!

Our first ever trip away was at Kippford a few years ago and we have actually been back as I love Rockcliffe beach. There is just something about it for me
