THS Recommendations Please

HI all
After a succesful first year caravanning, we have just come back from our final outing at the half term halloween rally at Sandringham.
It's got me thinking about planning next years trips, the most important being the week/10 days THS outing we want to do in the 6week school holidays.

Can anyone recommend a summer school holiday rally, we really want to be close to beach (short drive is OK) and ideally have EHU. IF they have some activities on for children also that would be a huge bonus but no essential.

As you probably know, THS (temporary holiday sites) are hosted by the various district associations of the C&CC.
These THS can be on small remote rally fields with limited basic facillities and no ehu or on large commercial or club sites with spotless modern toilet / shower blocks, bars and clubs and 16 amp ehu.
The only problem is that the THS are usually advertised in the sites section of the C&CC magazine and the adverts for THS begin to appear around March and from then on throughout the summer season.
The best thing to to would be to look in the back section of the C&CC magazine each month and you will see when the THS adverts appear.
From the adverts look for any likely seaside venues (one DA has a regular THS at Hendra Holiday Park, and there are lots on commercial seaside sites in all coastal areas) and contact the THS steward who'se contact details will appear with the advert.
Sorry that I can't be more specific but THS can sometimes vary from year to year and they are booked via the host DA.
