This one will make you laugh....

I decided to bring the van up from storage to clean before impending trip this sunday, ok going forward but tried to reverse into a very large space outside the front of the house, ended up with the back end of the van over the path and the front of the disco in the hedge on the opposite side of the road!!!

Had to ring my husband to come and sort it out!

I think that it's time for a course, don't you?!!!

Probably best if you don't play with the van while Stuart is not around.

Do us a favour, if we get to the site before you and you are towing....... DON'T pitch next to us!!!

LOL

Good on you for trying, Lolly! Herself won't even attempt towing anything, anywhere. Just keep practising, you'll get there.

Love to Jo & the Kids and see you in July!

Dont know how much battering the hedges on camp can take though, that's the only problem!!

My Husband has promised to take me on the other side of the airfield to practise, will probably pick a time when they are flying though!!!

Hi lolly

Don't worry about it! atleast you are trying. Practice makes perfect.

My better half, Denise loves towing our caravan, and had a few practice runs before we went on our first holiday.

Luckily she was keen to do it. As on our first day away I got a sty in my eye, and Denise had to tow for the following week, covering over 500 miles.

She is an expert at reversing onto pitches too!

I have to admit, she is more confident at towing than I am.

I think it is very important that both are able to tow, as you never know what is going to happen when you are away on holiday

illness, broken limbs, etc!!! - a holiday could be ruined if the only driver, was unable to do so.

So keep at it!

Hamish
