Time to relax

Well thats our bit done for this xmas, had the parents over for a few days and aslo the MIL, all gone now and were ready for the restful time till we go back to work. Were off to moor view in devon for 8 days in the van tomarow for a well earned rest, and because I got a dongle for xmas can stll look in on pc to keep up with whats going on. Cant wait now for tomarow.

Kev, if you're thinking of dangling your dongle out of the window be aware of catching chillblains :O(

get a USB extension lead, I place the 3 dongle by the skylight and conect it to the laptop by a USB exstention , that way the aluminium skin of the van dousnt block the signal. Most Dongles come with a sma

Hort extension but if you go a good PC shop you czn get them a couple of metres long

Wrap up warm, and a have a lovely time.

Find the best position in your van for the dongle by checking the signal strength on start up.

Thanks Guys, Ive got the short USB extention lead connected and over my shoulder by the windo but Ill look for the long one to go up into the sky light and try that.

Ive got 3 bars which is better than the mobile so not too bad for the area.

Having a great time (only been here for a few hours)
