Will this sterilise it?Thetford do a proprietary toilet cassette cleaner. Or white vinegar and water.
Any idea of sterilisation is fantasy in our real word. Thetford, Vinegar, Elsa’s and other cleaners remove the build up of calcium just like you clean your kettle. Will this sterilise it?
We don't do number 2s in it, but a bit of gunk seems to have built up just beneath the opening rubber mechanism.
Do you carry a spare blade? The toothed cog strips and it stops working. The Woosies some years ago did an on-site fix on our then King’s broken blade. I still carry a spare just in caseI clean ours with a weak bleach solution. If the slider is playing up I strip it down (see YouTube). And give it a good meticulous clean. Perhaps put a new overpriced donut in, but definitely cover it with silicone grease.

No, but I find the strip down very easily when the secret is learned. But I think that there have been a few iterations over the years.Do you carry a spare blade?
