towing with Honda stream...

Hi

Considering buying a caravan, we already love camping but with 2 very young children caravaning may be the easieroption.

We have a Honda Stream 2.0 vetec Automatic the total weight possible to tow is 1100kg so this would mean getting a lightweight caravan, so we can then load up to the max weight, is this correct?

Also anyone towed with a Honda Stream?

Any advice on what caravan want to spend up to £3500 ish

We are in the process of replacing our Stream (with a Hyundai Santa Fe) because we couldn't find a caravan light enough to carry all 4 of us (kids are 6 and 3) with anything like the layout we wanted.

The Adria's were the lightest we found but they seemed a bit flimsy compared to others (which is why they are so light, I suppose!). Even then, they were too close to the 1100 kg weight for comfort and I didn't want to ruin the Stream's gearbox etc. by towing so close to it's limit.
