Very sorry to hear Roger dodgers problem over stolen van.
It does however prompt me to question just how effective these tracker systems are.
Looking on various forums, magazine articles and comments by caravanners it seems whilst many systems actually work very well the weak link is how effective the "action taken" really is ?
Are the police really interested ? do the traffic cops have the trackers systems switched on ? or as many have said that the police are not too keen on confronting the "travellers" or low life that set out to steal our caravans even if they know where the stolen caravan is !
Easy option is to just let the insurance companies pay up. I know many have said that they would rather have a new van from the insurance companies rather than have their van back that someone else has violated but surely someone has to take a stance in this problem.
