Just about to get the van ready for a jaunt tomorrow and I decided to test the Truma Euro Mover. Didn't work. Main unit kept clicking and switching itself off. Good battery on van and new batteries in the remote. Try again, same result. Very poor intermittent operation accompanied by lots of clicking from the motherboard.
Don't know why, but I turned off the caravan's 12v master switch. Success, mover working perfectly. Switched 12v back on again, intermittent mover. Don't understand because the mover is wired directky onto the battery. Repeated this all afternoon with the same results. I decided to refine things by switching on the 12v master but switching off the only 12v item that was running, the Status TV amplifier. Success.
So it seems that my Status is interfering with the mover's motherboard. Strange or what? At least it's an easy fix; don't watch TV whilst moving the caravan, but any of you brainy types out there throw any light on this one for me. It's got me bewildered.
