looking for tips on cleaning the connection pins on the inlet of the van
When changing the aquaroll i quite often have to run back and forth because the pump keeps stopping
Now the pins on the pump are quite accessible as they are the male type but what is the best way to remove the corrosion on the insde of the female ones.
Once cleaned what is the best thing to spray with to stop the corrosion happening again?
Thanks

Hello Kev.I have found the best thing to use is WD40.If you just plug in and out a few times it will do it the power of good

Let the WD 40 soak in for a while and then offer the plug up you wont short anything out as Wd is a none conductor of electric. This is the method I have used but somebody else may come along with a different Idea.

I have just placed my order for the Kampa 390 Air awning should be with me at the end of April
Sprocket sent Deli Dave and myself a link to a company in Chesterfield , all looked good until I made an enquiry to find they wont have them til April either.
Never mind I can wait

Be careful using WD40 and make sure it does not come in contact with plastic as it will make the plastic brittle. Best is to use a bit of sandpaper on the connections to clean them.

IO have found that a piece of fine wet and dry rolled up will normally fit the female part of the connector but as others have said a quick spray with silcone will help prevent the corrosion as does keeping it in a dry state when not in use.
