Our caravan has the Truma Ultraflow sytem with a submersible pump in the Aquaroll. We have noticed the flow from the taps is not as fast as we would expect. It seems that the pipe from the Aquaroll to the side of the van is quite a hard plastic and where the pump has been stored in the sink, the plastic has creased and left a retriction in the pipe. What are your views on replacing the pipe with a softer plastic such as the ones used on Baileys with the inboard pump system. On the Truma website the picture of the pump assembly shows the outer sleeve of the pipe as having what I can only describe as pinch points in it. Could it be that we are expecting too much from the submersible pump system as our previous van had the inboard pump system and that delivered water from the taps a bit too fast at times. Our caravan handbook describes the Truma sytem as 'pressurised' whatever that means.

They do not pump that fast but adquate enough for the shower.Pressurised means it is operated by a pressure switch rather than by micro-switches on the taps. When running a tap can you hear the pump switching on and off? If it does this, screw pressure switch clockwise untll it keeps going with tap open .If pump is running ok with tap open i am afraid that is the maximum flow you will get.

I've noticed this on our newly purchased van. The pipe seems to be very hard and does have pinch points. I wondered about soaking it in hot water for a bit to see if it doesn't open it up a bit. Failing that, I might look at changing the hose to a food grade silicon hose if that would be up to the job. It certainly isn't as good as the older model!
