I was busy organising next years summer hols to France. Booked the site and found the ferry crossings I wanted Dover-Calais the cost was £180. I really wanted the Tunnel though but had been told it was a lot more than the ferry prices. So I went to the Tunnel website and the quote came to £238. I was pleasantly surprised and was going to book it to save me the 3-4 hours when my wife decided to ring the caravan club - they booked the exact same crossings on the tunnel for £188. That single booking has more than paid for membership of the CC.
So if you are planning to use the tunnel next year and fancy a discount and free membership of the CC you know what to do.
