Hi We have a Bailey Senator California which has a wall mounted TV system installed. Although the TV quality is good I don't like it being sited on the wall I find it uncomfortable to watch for any period of time. I would like to buy another free standing TV to put on the unit directly under however the aerial will not stretch down to reach. Can you buy some sort of extension bit? or would it be best to pull the leads through and drill a hole in the shelf to pass through?. (The wires can be seen when opening the locker above the unit)

Any advice would be appreciated

Regards Annie

Hi Annie,
you should be able to buy an extension cable to drop down from your unit to the telly . I have a 25-metre extension cable which I had to purchase on the site at Kielder which conected straight from my TV out of the window and into the electric post which had tv connector in . You will probably get a better answer than mine about the problem but I wouldn't go drilling holes through shelves and units though .

Hi Annie, yes if you go to Home base B&Q etc, you can buy 1, 2, 3, 4, meter extensions, just make sure which end you need. Like Craig we also have a 25 meter one to plug in the bollards, if we go to a site that has the ability. If we are away in France then we take our digibox with a month or six weks worth of recorded films on, just in case we are in an area without tv recepion.

Hi Annie,we have the Indiana with the wall mounted TV,the cable is connected using an F type connector and an F to coax plug.We used an F connector and a short length of coax with a coax plug on the end.All the parts are available from Screwfix or Maplins. You could get a male to female extension but the ones I saw were over a metre long and I didnt want lots of cable lying around. If you have a 12volt TV you can also get the parts from Maplins to make a short extension from the existing 12volt connector to power the TV up.
