tyre pressures

we have recently bought a 1999 Abbey Freestyle 2 berth van and cannot seem to find what the tyre pressures should be. Can anybody please advise and if so does the pressure need altering if we increase the weight that we carry?

I don't know the specifics of the Abbey, but it's worth firing off an e-mail to the manufacturer and to the Abbey owners group at the same time.

You should also check how old the tyres are on your van, the recommendation is that they are changed every 5 years but some people hang on until 7 years. There is a Dept. Transport date code on the side wall - if it's not immediately obvious what it means - take a look at http://www.eriba-amiga.co.uk/otr_tyres.html for how to read the codes.

Generally speaking tyre pressures are fixed.

Pressures should be 45lb if it is the 2 berth end washroom (1225kg approx),Denis.
