I have just purchased a tyrepal system although expensive I will feel more comfortable with them on if everything they say is true.

Does anybody have any experience of this system and what are your thoughts

Hello John,

The condition of tyres is always important and even more so when towing, so if you can detect a tyre that is going soft or running particularly hot then that is always a good thing.

I have no personal experience of this device, but as always the true value of its information will depend on its accuracy and consistency. Just because its digital does not make it more accurate or reliable. You will need to satisfy your self about how good it will be.

Hello John, Having shredded both caravan tyres on one return journey from Portugal (saved by CC Red Pennant and Red Flag) I was very interested when the Tyrepal was featured in the CC Magazine. Slightly daunted by the price, £250 for the six wheel unit, I searched the well known auction site and the discovered the same unit, which I believe is manufactured in Switzerland, offered by a German supplier as the Tiremoni at £150 plus £18 postage. This was delivered a few days after ordering, with the instructions in German. I down-loaded the instructions in English from the main Tiremoni web site and have had the unit installed for about four weeks now. I have checked the unit's accuracy several times against a tyre pressure gauge and it is performing faultlessly. It picks up the caravan wheel readings when I park near to it and is alarmed with high and low pressure and temperature paramaters.
I feel more comfortable about my forthcoming trip to Portugal with the Tiremoni installed and would therefore recommend the unit for the peace of mind that it offers.

Thank you for your reply it seems that I have done the right thing by ordering them hopefully they will arrive soon it seems as though it is money well spent if you can avoid incidences like you have already experianced.
