Go through the menus and if it offers French settings (basically PAL B/G and possibly SECAM) rather than the language then it should work albeit you will probably only get analogue channels.

You can of course take a sat box and dish and watch British TV....

Hi Chris,

If your lcd tv is able to receive secam which is the system transmitted in France then no problem. I doubt the freeview will work if it in you tv.

You could get a cheap sky system, I took one to Switzerland and it worked perfectly.

Hello

I do have a box and dish, I have used an ordinary lcd tv in the past but have not used monitor with integrated digital tv tuner. Not being very technical I wondered if this particular type of monitor/tv would work.

I am in Vilanova park ,20 miles south of Barcelona Spain ,i have a Tevion lcd tv bought from Aldi ,connected to a sky dish and 1 sky freeview reciever , in the bedroom plus a free to air reciever in the lounge of our caravan and the picture is perfect ,in fact some one asked if was on high definition ,because he thought the picture was so good
