Ventura Atlantic awning

Hi hope someone can help

I have a Ventura awning I just brought second hand I have the chance to buy a annex for it and the annex even has Atlantic etc on the bag and measures 5.40 zip

But people keep saying that the very old awning sizes were 5.40 preunicut and new ones are 5.58 unicut but don't get it my awning is not that old a couple of years I would so and I measured the zip where it goes and it measures 5.40 so how can I have the old unicut size or am I missing something or was it only the Isabella that changed sizes and not the Ventura and help would be great before I buy it thanks so much

Is there any reason why you can't take your awning with you and match it up to the annex before purchase?

Thanks for the reply I been on that web site before but doe t give you any messurments the annex I'm buying has a Zipp length of 5.40 and my awning has a Zipp length of 5.40 so will fit as same lengths just someone was saying 5.40 was a pre 2000 model after that they went to 5.58 but my awning is only a few years old so how does it have the old size if they changed in 2000 ? Your own awning is less than 15 years old.
Your own measurements confirm conformity imo. Go for it but take it with you and zip it up on the floor.

Yea thanks mate I'm going to take it with me but all this unicut or preunicut is confusing unless they didn't change the Ventura only the Isabella that's all I can think of

Unicut came in in about 1995 give or take a few years, long before Isabella set up Ventura as a satellite for making budget awnings.
So unless Ventura was operating pre Isabella owning it, they were not about in the pre unicut days.

Thanks mate well the annex is a Ventura one says Ventura 250 annex Neptune,Atlantic,Pacific 250 on it 403302505 and my awning is a Atlantic thanks mate
