Water in the system

Now I did everything I was told about draining taps and emptying the loo but did I remember to empty the flushing system tank.
Do you think I could remember so I popped out and opened the side door and opened the filler, there was a small amount of ice at the bottom of the filler neck.
Would it pay me to put a cup full of anti freeze in the filler?
Or just hope all will be okay.

er dunno reg but guess what i did the very same thing think I have got away with it though has it has now drained.
thing is my vans kept in a garage with heater and never been known to freeze inside. while I allways drain the water out of every where before the winter sets in I forgot the toilet flush and guess what the heater failed just when the temp got to -15 and while doing my routine once a week check found the toilet flush frozen.
I managed to thaw it out by putting the van heater on and leaving the showeroom door open it thawed out in about 3 days.
if you have acess to a ehu you could try that seeing as how according to the weatherman the temps are finally due to rise over the next week.
good luck. let us know how you get on

Are you on about the flush filler flap if so thaw with slitely warm not hot water make sure the drain plug is out so it can find a way out if it expands.Leave plug out for winter cold water will work as long as its warmer than the ice.Anti freeze can harm some seals so i would not use it my self weather is to warm up next few days so you could let it thaw make sure the drain plug is left out in case off re freezing as is forcasted.
