We bought our Bailey Ranger 460/4 NEW in July 2006 from what was Barrons, now Discover It was serviced by them for the first 2 yrs at a cost of about £200!!! Had it serviced last week at a local independent NCC registered dealer for a special offer price of £130(A BIG SAVING). When we collected it last Friday,we were informed that there was 100% damp in the front N/S corner behind the lockers which felt like a piece of sponge and that this had almost certainly been happening since new.Baileys are footing the repair under the warranty. The point I make is that the main dealer(Barrons/Discover )had not found the damp. At £200 a throw you'd think they would have!!! but I'm sure they'll say it was checked and found to be in order!!!. If you have a Bailey....get it checked THOUROUGHLY for damp by someone who knows and cares what they are doing, especially if the 6 years warranty is almost finished.
