The clear plastic cold water pipe that leads up to the kitchen monobloc tap connects into a black plastic connector which in turn connects onto a short copper pipe is leaking between the copper pipe and the connector. I would be grateful if anyone knows how to fix this problem. I can't seem to remove the connector from the copper pipe,is there special tool required? Is this a diy job or does it need to go back to the dealer? We only need to use the caravan once more for a few days before we trade it in for a new one. However, we cannot use it as the floor gets soaked. The caravan is an Elddis Crusader Scirocco. Any advice would be appreciated.

Michael, these are "push to fit" fittings, which are , once located, very awkward to get off due to the clamping ring within the fitting.
If you can reach the pipe, try pushing it a bit further on to the copper pipe, taking care not to press TOO hard, and a slight twisting may help tighten the fitting.
When they seal properly, they are good, but when they leak, they are a real pain, and no substitute for compression fittings.

you often have to have a tool that pushes back the grip ring to remove the fitting.Hepworth hep2O have to be destroyed to remove unless demountable.If you can locate a code or makers name on fitting may be able to help more.
