Hi I have a Burstner Flipper 435TK caravan which I have recently changed from an internal water reservoir to an external Truma water pump everything was great then nothing and every time I turned a tap on it blew the 7.5 Amp fuse, does anyone have any ideas what this could be,are there any switches on the taps which could effect the water, the bathroom tap was broken and would only work when the kitchen tap was on? It is a cold water only Caravan, Any ideas were I can start to fix this problem it was like being back in my tent!!!

Regards

If the fuse keeps blowing, then you have a short circuit.
You do not say if you fixed the bathroom tap issue ?
From your description you have a miroswitched water system and the microswitch in the bathroom tap has failed, hence only allowing water to flow when operating the kitchen tap.

Hi

Thank you for your quick response, I haven't fixed the bathroom tap could that along with the usage of the kitchen tap cause the short circuit, I am not very good at DIY so will be looking to my local Caravan service expert to fix it at some point in the near future, I want a hot water heater fitting as well, the caravan is in excellent continue for 10 years old and is worth spending money on would you recommend having it all done at the same time?

Regards
