Argosy 2004 with onboard water tank and usual truma heater. Pulls water in ok from barrel but although truma valve closed water not going into onboard tank and coming out what appears to be an overflow pipe underneath van. Never had this before. It is a steady stream and looks like there could be another drain plug im missing. Its not waste water pipe as that's all connected. Any help appreciated.

To aid draining down for winter storage there is a multipurpose valve on the cold water let feed to the water heater.

It acts as a pressure relief valve, and a toggle on the top allows you to open it to assist draining. Make sure the valve is closed.

It looks something like this though it may be a differnt colour

Thank you. I honestly didn't know that. I just thought there was the valve on the truma. No wonder it takes ages for the onboard tank to empty. Having never had a problem these last 3 years I wonder if its been knocked or something.

If the caravan has been serviced, the technician will (or should) have filled the system, tested it and then drained it down.
