Since yesterday, whenever I move to another sub forum or reload the page, I get a large blue section at the top with caravan reviews listed but none of the links work. I have to scroll down every time to get to the actual bit I want!!
What's happened to the web pages?

However I logged out then back in and I've managed to loose the caravan review bit you have mentioned. So perhaps you could try that.

I agree this site is lacking general info by members, looking at the viewing figures compared with the actual replies its becoming a viewing platform only.

It wouldn't let an old dog like me log in. I'd signed out the day before and became a guest reader only. I suspect this may have happened to others. After many attempts I rejoined as a newbie and it asked me to sign in!
Well I am back and Parksy is on the case.

Hi guys. Sorry if you're having issues. We did roll out a refreshed look to the site across the holiday weekend and so that might be the root of some of these problems. If the Practical Caravan homepage looks odd, try a force refresh and see if that helps? That will overcome any caching issues. I've received Parksy's email and passed it on to our development guys. They're usually pretty hot at getting on things. Thanks again for your patience.
I somehow managed to get logged off and when I tried to log back in I could not find any where to click to log on.
The page does not contain all the info that is shown using Chrome. I have looged back in using chrome but it is a nuisance having to keep changing every time

I was having the same problem and had just posted elsewhere on this forum when I found this thread. Gagakev's solution seems to have worked for me too. I'm not sure whether I shall have to do it each time though!

Practical Caravan Digital Editor Lizzie Pope has looked into these issues with the technical staff and has replied to my email with some information and advice.
The website had a bit of a facelift over the holiday weekend and this might be what initially caused the issue on some computers.
Home computers may have been using the cache to fetch the log in information rather than the server which has the updated information containing the facelift.

First of all clear the cache for your particular web browser Click Here to find out how.

The registry is the brain of your computer
Computers store retrievable information in the form of registry keys and these can become obsolete or damaged.
The hard disk stores data but for the date to be retrieved the data on the disk needs to be arranged in such a way as to make this possible.
The hard disk also requires some basic maintenance, this is called formatting, in other words arranging the data.
There is free software available which you can use to carry out these basic routine tasks to keep your computer healthy.
I-Obit Advanced System Care is a highly recommended free download which will scan your computer for problems and repair them as part of a maintenance routine.
