I'm stopping on a site at Chapel when this morning a small vane came to a twin axle Bailey to remove it from a seasonal site. All was going well till he came to the wheel clamp, one of thoes with 3 arms, and seems there was no key. Out from the van came the dreaded grinder, i turned to turn the kettle on and when i looked back he was putting the clamp and grinder in the van, what a joke that clamp was.

No i dont think so as the site is small with camera's and security barrier. Yesterday the owner was there with someone with a clip board looking at it , so recon they have sold it .

Some wheelclamps do appear to be just too week and are a waste of money. We have a Nemisis which is one of the more substantial clamps (just try lifting it) and would be far harder to remove but nothing is impregnable. The manufacturers are jusr selling you time, some more than others.

To add.
How many of us have mains connected at home to charge or warm the van.
Perfect to power an angle grinder . . .

There are some very efficient cordless Angle Grinders about, these days, they wouldn't require any power supply.
