Where is the best place to sell ?

Hello , we are currently selling our much loved 4 berth Lunar caravan.....reason only being we do need a 6 berth

where else is a good place to sell that gets lots of interest ??

We sold our last van on caravan trader (like autotrader). We tried ebay but got very fed up with timewasters and people wanting something for nothing. good luck

Like LB I can recommend preloved. I bought a porch awning a few years ago from a very decent chap. E bay imo is not the best of places to sell a caravan unless it is junk.

Have you thought about using The Caravan Club's new free classified ads. They've recently added it to their web site.

We used Preloved to sell our caravan, it sold within a week and had lots and lots of interest.

And don't forget of course that THIS web site has a very good used caravan sales section. Totally free and when I used it earlier this year I got quite a lot of interest through it.

Of course, posing this question and posting a link to an ebay site is quite clever too, if underhanded.

You are aware that Practical Caravan has a free sales section as that was what you were told back in April when you asked the same question !!!!

I never knew Practical Caravan had a free sales section ?? Yes i did ask the same question in April , but i couldn't find on the forum where abouts i posted ...hence question again ?!

Unfortunately this website in it's present form is not very user friendly Jem. The website is due to be revamped within the next week or so and I hope that the tools for navigating to the various sections will be easier to find and use after the upgrade.

To find the free caravan sales section first of all left click on the text which says HOME PAGE at the top left of the forum page.

Near the top of the HOME PAGE on the right hand side is a small yellow caravan logo on a blue background with the text 'SELL YOUR VAN FREE'.

Left click anywhere on this logo and you will navigate to the Practical Caravan 'Caravan Finder' site where you can advertise your caravan for sale including photographs, layout etc free of charge.

Click on the text which says 'CREATE YOUR ADVERT' and follow the instructions.

There are many pieces of text throughout this website which will reveal different features when they are clicked.
