Which Awning?

I am about to take delivery of a new Elddis Crusader Superstorm and will be buying an awning for it. However before I part with my hard earned cash I would like some advice on which awning represents the best value for money. I know Isabella awnings are considered to be the best but the price is a bit too high for me. The cheapest Acrylic awning I have found so far is Pyramid Corsican, has anyone had any experience of these, and are they any good?

Hi Allie,

As the caravan is brand new I would prefer to have a new awning to go with it. After scouring the internet I have found a supplier who is offering good deals on Ventura and Dorema awnings so I am tempted to go in that direction.Unless anyone knows better.

Steve

Stephen, have a look at the Inaca awnings, in particular the Sands model. I have owned one of these for some time and they are quality products. The fibre frame is exactly the same as used on the Isabella products. We currently have a 1000cm awning for the Oklahoma and it was several hundred pounds cheaper than the Isabella. Hi Stephen

Definately Isabella if you plan to use the awning all year round for a number of years, we have Isabella full awning from 1999 away being enlarged at the moment, but we also use a Ventura awning 850 size as a large porch on our twin axle. I think the Ventura awnings are a susiduary of Isabella made in Poland, we like the FGlass frame.
