We are currently considering purchasing an MPV and are debating between the Citrien Picasso 2.0HDI, the Renault Scenic 1.9 Diesel and a Nissan Amera Tino (diesel). Although we have been able to find reviews and comments on the VCitroen and the Renault we have not been able to find any reviews on the Almera Tino as a towcar. We have an Elddis Crown regent which has a laden weight of 1080kg so it is not a heavy van. Does anyone have experience of towing with the Nissan?
 
I do not know about the nissan but if you want a compact mpv i can recomend the ford focus c-max 2lt tdci, we pull a 1300kg caravan with it, the towing limit is 1500 kg.
