Why don't dealers want my money!!!!!!!!

In the last week I have emailed 4 dealers who supply the swift charisma 550 as a dealer special, with a view to buying one in the next 6-8 weeks, I have had just 1 reply, a very helpful call, but from the other 3 nothing.

I am looking to spend approx £15K including my trade in why isn't anyone interested? I am sure 12 months ago I would have had quick responses from all but because caravanning is quite popular this year and sales have soared, it would seem that the sales of new vans are not as important to dealers as perhaps I thought they would have been.

Grump over for now.

Next question.

Does anyone know if swift supply the dealer special as a standard van i.e. the charisma with the heavy duty corner steadies, concertina blinds, led lighting etc to dealers other than those who supply it as their own special?

I know what I mean I hope it makes sense to others!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an Archway Rockingham which is a White Arches dealer special Charisma 550, and very nice it is too. The extras over the base Charisma are, heavy duty corner steadies, Different furnishings, extra thick carpet, alarm system, dimmer switch for mains lights, Omnivent, Wet locker with mains socket, external BBQ gas point, side lift jack and auto gas change over. The window blinds are of the traditional style pull down variety. Having had an Eccles with the concertina blinds I am not unhappy with the pull down ones. The fabric on the concertina ones tends to break down on the creases in time, unless of course they have been improved.

TBH why should they bother with answering emails if the vans are flying off their forecourts. Most emails are just inquiries and not sales lead and they probably get a load of these in every day. Surely it would be simpler to phone and speak to the dealer instead of emailing them or have we lost the art of onversation?

Hi trevor I have no intention of going near Discover at all (no dealers near me anyway)and I really want my new van delivered by the time the show takes place.

Ian, I work very long hours,usually in the middle of nowhere, with limited chances to make phone calls so sending emails is my only real choice unfortunately.

Ann, thaks for the heads up about the lawns show but we're in devon from wednesday til the 21st so will miss it.
