This is a really helpful article, even for those not intending to wild camp, as we never know when we may need to pull over for a stop, Thanks for this.

Informative and nicely balanced to side step the emotions that run high sometimes on wild camping in England & Wales. I'd add that wild camping tends to requires a larger payload because of the need to carry more water.

I am wildcamping a lot, especially on the island of Öland on Sweden's east coast. There are many places Where IT is OK to stay. We also stay at, what the Germans call, stellplatzen, at marinas, farmhouses, PUB stops and overnight stops in towns. I think the campgrounds have become far too expensive. I do not need any playgrounds or swimming pools. Is it possible to attach pictures? From Google Photos not Photo Bucket. Photo bucket is rubbish, popup advertising everywhere all the time.
