prefering to either go skiing or somewhere nice and hot but definitely with a luxury ensuite........but after a split second decision to buy the inlaws van Easter 2009 we haven't looked back. After buying second hand with someone elses "dream" we quickly realised their layout didn't suit our needs. Having fallen hook, line and sinker we have now bought our very own brand new dream van. It is a Swift Charisma 545. Hubby didn't want a fixed bed but wanted the ability to have two double beds and plenty of daytime space. The 545 is absolutely perfect. We have a great end washroom with lovely shower and if it is only the two of us going away we can make the "fixed bed" up and leave it. Its the perfect van to have if you have teenagers and don't want to compromise on bathroom space but still have plenty of living space. Looking forward to many more years of caravanning with or without the kids.

Hi Lindachef, what's cooking?
Welcome to Practical Caravan forum, you did the right thing by trying caravanning out with a used caravan to form your own opinions on which layout suits you best and I hope that you and your family enjoy many happy times in your new caravan.
In one sense with an end washroom you still have the luxury en suite that you mentioned, yours just happens to be towable.
Happy Caravanning
