IF your Picasso only has the 90bhp HDI engine in it, I'd be surprised if it would tow a 1271 van comfortably.

Hi sandra, I (a woman) tow a Bailey Ranger 510/4 with a 2.0 HDI Picasso NO PROBLEM. In fact there are several people in our camping DA with picasso's as they are so good. Yes they have a limit of 1300kg but just be very vigilant what you put in. If it is a five berth that you need perhaps you should take a look at Lunar caravans. There are a couple of lighter vans around but we went for quality with a Bailey. Good luck. Maureen

Have picked up the new van and so far it is towing great. As it will only be being used by 2 adults and a dog I don't think we will be anywhere near the maximum weight. Still have empty storage space in overhead lockers !!! but am sure will find something to put in them !!!!
