Hi everyone, Is there a pub called Ox Inn between Scarborough and Filey? About 25 years ago I met a gent called Rod Peel who was staying at my college. He was on a Saga Holiday and I was a student who worked as a courier in the holidays. He came for a week and stayed for four! I got to know him quite well and he said he was the retired landlord of the above named pub. I fear he must have passed away by now, but I did say I would look up his old pub if I am in the area. Well, we are staying at West Ayton at the end of May this year and I intend to try and find it. If anyone can give me any information I would be very grateful. Best wishes, George T.
 
Google says there is an Ox inn at Lebberston, just off the A165 between Scarborough and Filey. Apparently they serve children, probably other comestibles too ;-)
