Martin - I am by no means the one to answer but a couple of things I've heard spring to mind:- 1 failure of the microswitch on the tap 2 Is there any water draining out under the van? If so may be a valve open in the water heater? 3 Its a faulty pump. I'm sure more knowledgeable people will...

    P & O ferries/Tescos Vouchers

Gill C - I just rang customer service on 08705 20 20 20 and spoke to a lady called Christine she told me you can book ferry travel for up to the end of next year but must be done before November 30th 2007.

    P & O ferries/Tescos Vouchers

If you have vouchers to use, as long as you book before the November cut off date you can still book a crossing for next year. Then you can always alter the dates for a small fee if it doesn't work out conveniently.

    4x4 thread

I'm not posting this out of a dislike of 4x4s, we have had a few including a discovery which we liked but don't feel that just because you are towing with a 4x4 heavier than most cars they are invincible. Take it easy out there folks! The following is from another forum:- "About an hour from...

Do you think the road infrastructure is there to make a major hospital in mid wales viable? Come the winter alot of roads are dangerous going. But the cottage hospitals do what they can and very well if they're allowed to continue.

Nor mine Diane but I thought it was in the plans and they definitely get it in Scotland. One thing I am certain of is that there is far more funding for eye care in Wales (especially for diabetics) than in England I was on the committee at the time it was approved.

The Welsh Assembly pay the university fees for students from Wales even if they go to an English University, I'm pretty sure their parents don't feel this is a waste of public money and I'm also pretty sure I know what English students think about it too!

    Tragedy in York

Pete - A child will still run out infront of cars even if they cannot have a bike to ride, supervision and education by parents and caution by drivers .. the only way I think.

    The Kitchen Sink

Hi Lisa If you have a straight run of work top it probably does but ours is L shaped, cooker on left and round the corner to sink on the right, the corner in between piece is the only empty area and we stand the kettle etc there.

    The Kitchen Sink

Yes - you're right it is a cover, but it doesn't work for us or we dont work with it!!You could only cover the sink when fairly empty to use in that position, and although it has a certain homely appearance we just dont use it.
