HELP WITH TRAVELING TO BLACKPOOL with caravan please

Braids Caravan Park at Gretna might suit;(Copy/Paste); http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=2389&map=on#maphere Never stayed there, but gets fairly good reports, and is close to your route. From here, it's straight on to the M6 (more or less), for your trip down to Blackpool.

Uprating the weight of the van. Is the dealer trying it on?

This seems to be the norm now. I believe Swift dealers charge a similar amount for an upgraded plate. However, some 'vans can only be upgraded by a very small amount, in which case it is not worth the money, so something to watch out for.

    nearside lights not working

The L.H.S. lights are powered via the black wire on Pin 7 (the centre pin) of the 12N plug/socket. Could possibly be just a bad connection, (you could try opening the contact points on the appropriate male pin to see if that works), but the best method of testing is use a meter between pin 7 and...

    Where is my water filter?

Hi Jim, if it has an electrical connection, then I think you are correct in your assumption that it's the pump which you are dropping in to the aquaroll, in which case, is there an in-line filter between that connection and the hot water tank?

    Where is my water filter?

I think you will find that the white cylindrical part which drops down into your aquaroll is the filter. Am I correct in thinking that you have an on-board/inboard pump?

    towbar electrics

The earth to the road lights should be white, connected to pin 3 on the 7 pin plug. Not sure what the green and white wire is for, but in any case, the earth for the road lights shouldn't be connected to the chassis, so, if he connects the white wire up properly, and all the lights work...

    tow bars and car insurance

Susan - probably only void because you hadn't told them that you had a towbar fitted. It's a modification to the car, and consequently Insurance companies expect to be informed after any modification - even a spoiler.

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

I still think that it has something to do with the warning for your indicators/lights. If you don't have the buzzer system, then you must have some indication on the dash in the event of a bulb failure, and I would imagine that this little gadget has something to do with that. It's the first...

Sounds (excuse the pun) as though it may be the sounder for your indicators when towing. Did you have a sounder/buzzer on them?
