    Rugby League World Cup- Wheelchair

Must admit some of this wheelchair rugby is brutal.

    Tow ball covers

I’ve been using a tennis ball for my tow bar for years (not the same one obviously). Cut it to fit and the ball will stay on unless force is used.

Mike Parry has an Anti Caravan rant on Good Morning Britain

This plonker makes a business out of causing arguments and getting the public to ring up premium rate numbers to discuss things he says. He does it all the time on TalkSport. Some of the most ridiculous statements he makes then sits back laughing and counting his bonus's when he sees all the...

    Northern Lake District

I agree with you Darren, this is a lovely site. Also Castlerigg just down the road is excellent as well.

    Caravan Service Due

Don't forget though that the extension to the service dates that some manufacturers have recently given are for this year only. If still in warranty this is is not a rolling extension. So for example your service was due today 23rd April 2020 you can currently extend this between 3 and 6 months...

    Air awnings.

Personally I wouldn't go back to a poled awning, air awning all the way for me. We have a Trigano Panoramic 410 ( https://www.practicalcaravan.com/reviews/awning/49744-trigano-panoramic-410 ) and is so much easier to put up than a full awning with poles and also to take down. I'm not so sure...

    Dent Removal.

CraigYoung - If you get a hairdryer and use this on the dent (on hot setting) for five minutes or so it will soften the bumper and can be popped back out by pushing the dent from underneath the bumper. As the bumper isn't metal these days these are the easiest to repair yourself.

    Bird song

I love the sound of songbirds as much as anybody else but would defy anybody to admire the sound of fifty or so Crows at 4:45 in the morning as we have just experiences at a site in Keswick.

Digging up the flower beds for caravan parking.

Hi Clive, As others have stated I would go down to at least 300 - 350mm, using MOT type 3 hardcore. after all you will have around 1500 kg of caravan or car on it on a regular basis during it's lifetime. I recently did over my garden using the grid force system (see www.gridforce.co.uk). I...

I wish I had a pound for everytime I did that....

Having returned the van to its storage site after having been away this weekend, I was just about to drive away when I realised that I'd left my extended wing mirrors on. I wish I had a pound £ for every time I've done that. Any other things that you have done whilst away and wished you had a...

    Take care over Christmas

As we have all been aware, the recent flooding in Cumbria and North Wales has resulted in many areas and campsites becoming inaccessible. Keswick campsite is currently underwater and there are flood warnings issued for areas around Pooley Bridge near Penrith, the Keswick Campsite, the Eden Golf...

Wastemaster - which hole(s) do you use?

As Mike says it all depends on the site in question. Ordinarily it will be the top raised opening I use but often the site will dictate which hole to use. If there is a little room then I;ll use the bottom hole.
