Wow! That's appalling. So Bailey are deliberately installing a fixture in the vans which has a limited life and cannot be repaired - just replaced in its' entireity. at considerable cost. Shame on them.

Advice please, We have come away in our 2020 Bailey Unicorn Vigo caravan and have found that the pop-up plug in the bathroom basin will not seal. So water runs away as soon as we turn on the tap. Research tells me that I can replace the washer, but at the moment I cannot discover how to remove...

Thanks everyone. After much research we've settled on Vallon Pont d'arc as our base for a month. We have found a good-priced ACSI site with river access - Camping Beau Rivage. We are grateful for all advice.

Fair point Mr Plodd. We have camped at a site beside a river in the Dordogne region for 35 years and had to move twice because of flooding. But that site has now become a holiday village, so we are looking for new options.

Can anyone please suggest a campsite in the Ardeche region of France which has pitches directly on the banks of a river? We are planning to take our caravan down there for the month of June and we love to be very close to a river. If the site is an ACSI site that would be good. I've tried...

Final thanks for all advice - a useful discussion..... On balance, my son reckons he'll be looking for the diesel version - as it happens they are cheaper than the petrol XC60 in NZ so he'll be able to afford a newer vehicle. Cheers

Thank you everyone for all the interesting comments - that has all given us good food for thought. It's interesting that we have had no responses from owners of petrol engines XC60s of that age - it just shows that the petrol version was not a popular towcar. Food for thought! My own 2017...

I'm looking at 2009 - 2014 T5 2 ltr petrol XC60s. Can anyone please give info about fuel economy when towing. Would also be interested in views of towing performance. Thanks
