It's supply and demand, there's always going to be insurance companies who are willing to undercut their competitors.

I always compare at the end of my policy, if my current provided wants to match the cheaper quote then that's great but if not I always switch.

Hi everyone! Newby to the forum and to caravanning in general. My dream is to build out my own van/caravan conversion in the near future and travel the UK then Europe to start with and then who knows, maybe the rest of the world as well! Look forward to getting involved in the community.

That's a fair point but there have also been many examples in history where prices tend to decrease as technology evolves, it's a deflationary effect. Like the cost of buying a computer when they first came out vs now, it's much more affordable.

I'm not worried about whether or not electric vehicles will reduce towing range over time, I think it will actually increase as the technology improves.

I wonder if all the new renewable energy being produced over the next 5-10 years will reduce some of these costs in the long run, it will be interesting to see what happens.
