It's in the caravan club book, but I'm not sure if they will worry about being a member or not, as it's so cheap.

Don't arrive early for your ferry like we did last year, as we were turned away with the caravan in tow and told to come back 2 hours later - where do you go? We ended up in a layby on the side of the road for a couple of hours,(with 2 kids and the dog in the back!) as there was nowhere to park...

Hi, Parc des Alicourts, loire valley has a lovely lake for swimming and fishing, stayed there last summer and it was wonderful.

Has anyone stayed on the CL in Whitfield Dover, Newsole Cottage (Mr Wadey), in the Caravan Club Directory. It is off the A2 Canterbury-Dover dual carriageway. What is the access like with a caravan? We are trying to break up the driving when we go to France in the Summer (Dover-Calais)...

Has anyone been to this site in the Gers region of France. We were thinking of driving down there in one go from Calais, should be about 10 hrs with the caravan, we wondered what the route is like, how long it took, and how noisy the site is. We have 2 quiet teenagers. Thanks.

Dear Mark Went here with 2 teenagers and a dog last May 1/2 term. Pitches quite crowded, no privacy, some bigger than others. Great site for kids, loads to do. Nicely laid out and attractive, very large to walk from one place to another though. Good shops across the road from site, nice...
