    CS Sites?

Thanks everyone. I definitely don't want to ruin someone else's well earned trip, but as I say he is a very well behaved boy and we would only really be around the caravan site in the morning and from dinner time onwards. This sounds amazing! I will look into these as I hadn't heard of them...

    CS Sites?

As per previous posts, we are pretty new to caravanning and we have tended only to go to the same spectacular campsite every year (from tenting in 2012). We are a family of 3, with a 6 year old. We have joined CCC and I have been looking at sites for shorter trips away. I remember my parents...

    Insurance vs Cover

Thanks everyone. We have decided to join the CCC and get their insurance. I was reading that CMHC isn't insurance, but cover, so thought that if it isn't "proper" insurance it would have been cheaper. I may be completely wrong, i am up to my eyes in options, i may have got that confused :ROFLMAO:

    Insurance vs Cover

Hi all, We are looking at insurance for our new (to us) caravan. I tried a comparison site, but looking at the reviews of the comparison site, I'd rather avoid them. I have now looked at CCC and CAMC. As far as I see, the CCC offer full insurance and my quote has come up cheaper then the "cover"...

Hi, I think this is ok to post, but apologies if it is not (I did read the community rules and didn't see anything). We are contemplating becoming a member of a caravan club and there is a couple that I am aware of, but not sure if there are benefits over each other. and would like to get some...

Recommendations for somewhere close to Ardrossan

Hi all, I am struggling to find any touring sites near Ardrossan and wondered if anyone can help? We'll be travelling from Perthshire. to catch a ferry for 9.15am, so I would rather try and book something close by, rather than leave the house at 5.30 with a 5 year old. Thanks Charlene

    Hi from Scotland

thanks everyone. I will invest in vacuum bags for the duvets etc. and think i'll get a box for the kitchenware in as I always wanted to clean in the dishwasher before we headed away. but if it is kept in a airtight box, hopefully it means they will be clean for use

    Hi from Scotland

A person after my own heart. I live by lists and do have a list, it just seemed to take hours to pack and prep. maybe we just need to get out in the caravan more to get into a routine more :tonguewink:

    Hi from Scotland

Hi there, new to the forum. We are excited to be picking up our new (to us) caravan in the next couple of weeks. We got an old caravan as a wedding gift back in 2015 (as an upgrade to camping) and we have absolutely loved it. but last year, the caravan was starting to become a bit rickety...
