Hi We have a 2004 Abbey which had the same problem. I lubricated the door lock with a little silicone based spray (i did all the locks & catches actually) and this made a tremendous difference. We only need to slam the door for different reasons now!!

Tina I drive about 50,000 miles per yr. Believe me, you dont need a caravan on the back to be overtaken by complete d**ks, wether you are doing 60, 70 or 80. Just keep driving safely. Chris P

Hi Rob I am looking at buying the Sorento auto. I thought problems towing with autos went out with the eighties? Am i wrong? I presumed that with modern autos we were ok. Could someone let us know before i waste my money, as my caravan weighs 1500kg. Cheers, Chris P

Hi Dane Make sure you check with your insurers, as my alarm had to have a door contact, tilt sensor and PIR. The light on our PIR is so small that you don't notice it. The keypad does have a light on it, so make sure you position it so you can't see it when you are in bed (like mine, through...
