Is the end of diesel nigh?

my motorhome was a 6 cylinder non turbo VW if I was still running it. it would cost £250 for the road tax and whatever the fuel duty is on a litre of fuel to go 5 miles. no thanks. I will stick to my 12 year old diesel car. for as long as it runs. and the tree huggers can go carry on walking...

hi Kev, I also use Avast free, definitions are updated twice a day and I have never had any problems with viruses getting through. like Parksy I used Kaspersky for years also without any problems but IMHO they got a bit expensive, that also goes for Macfee and Norton, also there is a problem...

Car and Caravan. A Match, or maybe not?

Absolutely because seller's want to make a sale it is upto the driver to make sure the combo is legitimate and legal to tow. not the seller. if in any doubt the best source of information is the manufacturer that goes for van and car, and actually it's not that hard.

Car and Caravan. A Match, or maybe not?

hi Terry, caravan matching can be very curcumspect in these modern times, I am afraid, but more of that later, without being too pedantic someone who has had 6 bailey's will have been round the block a few times (if you know what I mean) and will well remember the old days, when no one bothered...

Sticky wardrobe door and water filter???

quite true that one John,, also as caravans do flex the positions of the corner steadies can put a ever so slight twist on the internal dynamics of the van, so the wardrobe goes out of square very slightly but it can be enough to effect the catches, had this phenomenon on site after about a week...
