Maybe I should have told you guys 2 of the 3 adults are women. Don't care if the facilities are there, we're on holiday.

Wish mine was under the sofa/bed. It's in the wardrobe in the rear bathroom at the back of the van. Electric hookup comes in under the sofa next to the battery, 12v fuse box, and charger. Then cables disappear below the floor and run to the back of the van, back though the floor to the wardrobe...

Typo! Should have said 15 to 18kg, most budget airlines now are a 20kg weight limit, I would usually pack around 15 to 18 for 10 days. Don't intend to do washing and ironing on holiday!

Thanks for all the advice. How many clothes seems to be the guiding factor! We are taking enough clothes for three adults for a 10 day holiday. So if you were taking that on a plane you'd probably be taking 3 holdalls of 15kg to 28kg each.

Depends what ignition switched feed its wired into, for instance my 12v cigar sockets and stereo work in ignition position 1, but elec windows etc only work in position 2

Simple question- would you load up a rear wardrobe and overhead lockers with clothes when towing, or would they be better in a bag on the floor?

A few people have said that power should only be provided at the socket when the engine is running and the alternator is spinning. Is it normally that intelligent? I'd have thought it was just an ignition switched relay, i.e. if your ignition key is turned on, then the power is supplied...
