Only big bank that I can think of is after Guisborough and it's not too bad, dual carriage way up the bank so things can overtake. Can't think of much stop/start on that route, Guisborough has a bypass now so no hold ups there. Quite an easy route with plenty of dual roads so traffic flows...

I would do as you suggested and move rears to front and fit premium all season tyres to the rear. When the fronts are well worn do as you said and move rears to front and fit new all season to the rears. Don't see a problem fitting all season to one axle and summers to the other.

BMW X5?

We are staying on the Silverstone Golf Club which is adjacent to the circuit. I think the partying happens on one of the other campsites next to the circuit. We arrive on the Wednesday and have a 'plot' that we set up on and can't leave the site until Monday. Very short walk into the circuit.

We are off to Silverstone next Wednesday, staying for 5 nights so we can watch the British Grand Prix. Anyone else on here going?

Wonder if they are withdrawing from car insurance as well? Got my renewal quote last month from them and it had gone up by almost £300. Managed to get insurance with Tesco for the same price I paid with Saga for the previous year.

If the Corolla has been reliable I would keep it and just get the rear box replaced - but £400 seems a bit expensive, wonder if it's the age of the car and lack of spares?
