we stayed here 11 years ago when i was heavily pregnant with my son. we were in a static at the furthest away point from the facilities. it is away out in the middle of nowhere too.
wouldn't go again, but thats my opinion

we have recently changed to a bailey ranger from a swift rapide.
the swift had excellent underbed storage, however....
the bailey has less underbed lockers & most of them have wiring, heaters, water tanks etc.....
there is only 1 that doesn't have anything in it, but is too small...

we are thinking about it, to go early august. i want a couple of days at the start of my holiday to unwind in the peace & quiet.

we visited the newquay holiday park & didnt think much of it. went swimming at hendra & the site looked nice.
we stayed at newperran which is half way between newquay & perranporth it was great with things for the kids to do.

hi, i will probably get a row from the moderator for this.....lol.... ( free advertsing ) avon skin so soft is supposedly good as a midgie repellant. i have some in the caravan, but never needed it yet.

we have passed through wooler a few times & the site looks ok. my hubby has been in the pub & says it was fine.
the whole area is great, i stay in the scottish borders & there is loads of things to do.
maybe look at ord caravan park at berwick,or haggerston if you fancy somewhere busier...

we travelled from the scottish borders to newquay in 1 day ( 500 miles), but without the caravan. it was ok, but we were all shattered when we got there. last year though, with the caravan we had a couple of days stopover in wales. you should make the most of the freedom of having a caravan...
