Sorry Buckman but I didnt realise you were on a 3 lane roundabout when your incident occured.😊

    DashCams

Unless my eyesight is worse than I thought,I can only see 2 lanes approaching the roundabout in any directions. I believe the nearside lane is to take exit 1 or 2. Offside lane to take exit 2,3 or 4.

Car door edge protectors guards for my new car

Good luck with the door protectors Beachball and wishing you a speedy recovery. Just a suggestion....occasionaly remove the door protectors and give the paintwork underneath a quick clean. You would be suprised how much muck gets trapped underneath them👍

    Roadcruz tyres.

I would class this below as a blow out. Happened on the 2nd.steer axle on my 8 wheeler tipper whilst loaded😯 You can see the outer part of the tyre wrapped around the axle.

Drilling glass in double glazed units???

Thank you for all your valued replies. Only reason I thought of drilling 2 holes in the glass, using a hairdryer to dry them out temporarily like caravan windows seemed like a good idea.....maybe not. JTQ.....I did realise the cause of the misting/condensation is down to the seals on the edges...

Drilling glass in double glazed units???

Although you say "A hell of a lot of work for little or no gain"....for people like ourselves with a limited budget,I thought my idea would "Tide us over"for a few more years. Not lucky enough to spend a great deal like others. All glazing units show no signs of having a toughened stamp.

Drilling glass in double glazed units???

Hi. Our conservatory has 7 X 3ftx4ft double glazed windows but unfortunatly,5 are now showing signs of condensation between the glass. Weve had conservatory for over 20 years now so we have'nt done bad. I do realise that probably the seals are gone so new replacements are in order but just...

    Screw down pegs

Ive used the type of pegs you mention in the past but I carry a long very thin masonry drill bit to make a very small pilot hole first. Ive found it to be quite effective.

    Apple ipad internet connection problems

Thank you Firkle for your very informative reply. Rather than try to go into settings etc.I gave Talktalk a ring, explained the problem and they sent an engineer out yesterday. After doing his checks on our system,he discovered a fault with the cabling further down our street. 2 hours later he...
