2 areas in the back corners of my caravan get wet with condensation when i use the van in winter. If i go making holes in these areas with one of these damp meters am i not potentially creating a damp problem by giving this wetness a route through the waterproof wall covering into the timber behind?

Forget that last post i have found my fault. I took up the non standard fitted carpet & underlay. Floor is soft pretty much all over. But at the back next to the bathroom the original lino had been cut & under it was an alloy sheet about 2 ft square screwed to whats left of the original rotten...

Re these underfloor fxings are you referring to the bolts that hold the floor to the chassis & A frame? Regards, Glenn.

Hi, I've just got myself a 2007 Bailey Senator series 5 with some extensive floor delamination. Its in the area around the kitchen (like my old van had) but also right at the front between the seats which i find unusual? Were the floors bad on these or have i bought one thats had hippo's...
