Hi,I need to replace the skylight in my 1985 Eccles Amethyst,I will have to do this myself.Has anyone done a job like this and will it be a straight changeover as long as its sealed properly.Thanks .Gordon

I cant find my manual for my 1985 eccles amethyst to tell me what the tyre pressure should be,I'm sure its 34psi ,can anyone verify this for me,cheers Gordon

Hi Pat,we toured that area last year but we were a bit further south down near Aberlour.We did pass the big site up there,i think it was called silver sands.Good area ,plenty to do but bear in mind its next to the airbase so theres plenty of tornados screaming overhead

I only use them for weekend trips when i'm not putting the awning up

the past couple of times i've been away with the van i've had to take the wheel off,only because i overtightened it and knackered the thread on the locking pin.I managed to fix it on site though

it wouldnt do any harm to contact the police,most caravanners usually carry their documents or copies anyway.better the police pull them over than letting it go.it could save someones van .Gordon

I recommend the ccc site at craigellachie on speyside,great area for touring especialy the morayshire coast.we had a great time there last august plus the midges arent as bad onthe east.Gordon
