Try the CC site at Knaresbourgh, its only 20 miles to York and less to Ripon. It has a small play area and if the guy has his license yet, a bar.I have been twice with my lads 7&5 and they think its great. Loads to see and do in the area as well. Hope this is of some use Ian

in reply to your question on the Hyundai Trajet i tow with a 2.0td and find it fine. Though my van is quite lightweight around 1220 fully laden,sometimes you could easily forget you have the van on the back. Fuel consumption is quite good about 27/28 when towing, 33 in eveyday use. Hope this of...
