    Wood blocks for leveling caravan

Treated decking board cut to various lengths I use them under the steady feet, under the jockey wheel, to level our SA van or anywhere else that they may be useful. Never had a problem

    Bed Making

We just turn the beds so that the knee roll is to the wall and put a duvet on top, perfect. Just a personal thing but we wouldn't have a fixed bed even if we won one in a free raffle

Outside pump works but just a trickle at the he tap.

At 20 quid plus a time, ours as many others was removed, bypassed and chucked in the bin. We don't drink from the van taps anyway so pathogens are not a concern. My manual says change every season but not more than 2 or it will just become a breeding ground for germs

The filter I refer to would be fairly large and obvious and should be changed every couple of years. I removed ours altogether when I had similar problems that you have (I don't think it had ever been changed) Is it a whale pressurised system or a microswitch system?

Do you have an in line filter under a bed or in a cupboard that needs replacing or removing? or like prof says it could just be airlocked, when this happens to me just a gentle tap of the pump on the barrel side while submerged is usually enough to clear it

    Bitter Beer Prices

In our local pub premium lagers are still under a fiver a pint. I drink pints of diet coke at £3 a go. (diabetic) The place is usually busy and opens 7 days a week. The landlord makes a living and there is no prospect of closure in the near future. He has a good set of regulars so he does'nt...

    Bog roll

We use any cheap supermarket paper and the Elsan sachets. Never had a problem. We have job share with the Elsan she fills it up and I empty it

    Windbreak and awning skirt?

Our yorkie goes on a screw peg and coated wire which we loop around one of the van legs, yes she can get a bit tangled but most of the time she just lays in the shade under the van and is in all other respects is as good as gold Our son has a year old black Cocker spaniel who is completely...

    Caravan / Motorhome ratio

I agree with all of the above but would also add that maybe some motorhomers or indeed caravanners may feel that if they are not using them at every available opportunity then they are not getting a good return on a considerable investment. Which I suppose is not a bad way of thinking

    Caravan / Motorhome ratio

We have had both and changed back to a caravan because of OHs mobility issues. I have noticed a lot less of the dedicated MHs and more of the van conversions on the more remote sites. This could be due to being a bit tied to the location of the van as we felt that we were, so limiting our scope...

What bugs you most about your fellow motorist?

There will always be some arrogant ignorant selfish drivers on our roads as dictated by human nature so nothing to be done about it really except to be as vigilant as you can be. I used to have an early morning 20 mile commute and if I could get to work without at least 5 attempts on my life I...
