Problem is like caused by over tightening at garages when changing tyres. They like using air ratchets which stress the threads.

Thanks John. But as previously posted, I don’t have access to the other side. I also cannot get to the axle as I am disabled and simply cannot get to it even if I wanted to. And as previously posted also, I cannot remove a wheel to get information from the drum without the risk of the wheel bolt...

Yes, I should have said. I no longer have access to your the other side until the caravan is moved from where the recovery people put it. Once the near side is changed/fixed. I will then move it and do the other side. Thanks anyway.
